ABOUT

Meet Emmy Abbott

Emmy is a surface designer who came to pattern by way of interior design. That eye for how a room — or a whole product range — comes together is the thread running through everything she draws.

She doesn't sketch a single flower and stop. She turns flowers, bunnies in little waistcoats and playful graphics into finished, print-ready repeats — and then designs the coordinating “go-with” prints, borders and engineered pieces that let a retailer build a complete, high-end look.

Her work is known for its whimsy, its considered colourways and an upscale finish — niche, specific, and instantly hers.
